Kendrick Yim is an experienced medical professional and researcher with a diverse background in emergency medical services and scientific research. As an Undergraduate Researcher at Rothman Lab since September 2011, Kendrick contributed to research on cell death regulators and developmental chirality in C. elegans, earning the 2012-2013 Beckman Scholar Award. In addition, Kendrick serves as Lead EMT at the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, providing advanced life support and leading training sessions for EMTs. Earlier experience includes research at Orias Lab focused on self-nonself recognition using Tetrahymena thermophila. Kendrick holds an MD from UC San Diego School of Medicine and a B.S. in Pharmacology from UC Santa Barbara.
