Matt Daly is an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a strong commitment to community service. Since August 2017, Matt has been employed by the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, providing essential emergency medical assistance. Additionally, from June 2017, Matt serves as the Communications Coordinator for Doctors Without Walls - Santa Barbara Street Medicine, a nonprofit organization focused on delivering free medical care to vulnerable populations. Matt holds a degree from UC Santa Barbara, obtained in 2018.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department serves and safeguards the community from the impacts of fires, medical emergencies, environmental emergencies, and natural disasters through leadership, planning, education, prevention, code enforcement, and all-hazard emergency response. Since 1926, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department has supported the County of Santa Barbara through 16 stations and approximately 300 personnel.
