Senior Permanent Collection Researcher And Manager Of Archives at Santa Barbara Museum of Art

Allyson Healey currently serves as the Senior Permanent Collection Researcher and Manager of Archives at the Santa Barbara Museum Of Art, where responsibilities include responding to archival research requests and managing institutional archives, with significant contributions to digitizing over 500 object files. Previously, Allyson held the position of Curatorial Support Group Coordinator at the same museum, providing administrative and curatorial support to specialized groups. As the Producer and Host of the podcast Art History for All, efforts focus on enhancing accessibility to visual art and its history. Other professional experiences include roles as a Catalogue Raisonné Researcher at Louis Stern Fine Arts, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, and various positions at Scripps College. Allyson holds a Master's degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Scripps College, along with study experience at The Courtauld Institute of Art.
