Santa Barbara Symphony
Eddie Meneses is an accomplished percussionist with extensive experience in prestigious musical institutions. Currently serving as Acting Section Percussion for the San Diego Symphony since October 2023, Eddie has also held roles with the Los Angeles Philharmonic as a Substitute Percussionist since October 2008 and as Principal Percussionist with the Santa Barbara Symphony since April 2008. Additional experience includes performing as Percussion I for Cirque du Soleil's IRIS from April 2011 to September 2012. Eddie holds a Graduate Certificate in Percussion Instruments from the University of Southern California (2010-2011), a Master of Music in Percussion from Carnegie Mellon University (2006-2008), and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California Flora L. Thornton School of Music (2001-2005).
