Vanessa Huynh

Vanessa Huynh is an experienced professional in healthcare quality improvement and resource coordination. Currently serving as a Quality Improvement Coordinator at Santa Clara Family Health Plan since August 2022, Vanessa plays a crucial role in facilitating project activities and ensuring NCQA accreditation success through policy review and optimization of member/provider materials. Previously, Vanessa worked at Heluna Health, where as a Resource Coordinator, Vanessa expanded resource care coordination strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic and established partnerships with local community-based organizations. In earlier roles as a Case Investigator and Contact Tracer, Vanessa implemented public health protocols, promoted COVID-19 awareness, and managed sensitive health data while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Vanessa began their career as a Jumpstart Corp Member with AmeriCorps, focusing on enhancing early education experiences for children in low-income schools. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
