Hanford Kwong

Hanford Kwong possesses extensive experience in various roles related to biology and outdoor education. Currently serving as Open Space Tech I at Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority since July 2020, Hanford has also held positions in marine mammal rescue at The Marine Mammal Center since January 2014 and as a Lead Softgoods Specialist and Outdoor School Instructor at REI since October 2011. Previous roles include Pest Detection Specialist and Biologist for the County of San Mateo from June 2016 to November 2017 and Lab Technician at Hackett Lab from 2010 to 2011. Hanford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Arizona, as well as additional educational experience from Pima Community College and Foothill College.
