Stephen Woodson

Stephen Woodson is an experienced Open Space Technician with a diverse background in park management and outdoor maintenance. Currently serving at Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority since April 2019, Stephen demonstrates expertise in maintaining and repairing open spaces and parks, incorporating skills in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Previous roles include personal training at ISSA and seasonal positions with Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District and Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, where Stephen contributed to trail construction and maintenance projects and ensured safety standards. Additional experience includes quality assurance at Luxe, tour guiding at Angel Island Company, and trail maintenance contracts with California State Parks and the City of Santa Cruz. Stephen holds a Park Management degree from West Valley College and possesses HAZWOP certification and strong outdoor skills.
