Sarah Knott

Education Outreach Intern at Valley Water

Sarah Knott currently works as an Education Outreach Intern at Valley Water since 2023. Previously, they held a role as an Environmental Education Intern at Environmental Volunteers from 2022 to 2023, where they assisted in teaching programs and educated the public about the organization's mission. Before that, they worked at Trinity University as an Earth Surface Processes Grader from 2021 and as a Student Assistant from 2020 to 2021, where they ensured attention to detail in grading assignments and communicated with professors.

Sarah Knott holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Trinity University, which they obtained between 2017 and 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Studies at San Jose State University and is expected to complete it between 2021 and 2023. In addition to their academic qualifications, Sarah has obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they completed "The Elevator Career Pitch" course from Lynda.com. Sarah also participated in the AT&T Summer Learning Academy Extern program, earning certifications in 2020 and 2021. Moreover, in February 2022, Sarah acquired the certification for "Minimal Risk Institutional Review Board (IRB) Training" from the CITI Program.
