Eva James Toia

Eva James Toia is an experienced development professional with a strong background in major gifts and fundraising within the arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Development at The Santa Fe Opera since June 2023, Eva has previously held significant positions such as Director of Major Gifts at Opera Philadelphia and Director of Major Gifts and Campaigns at Settlement Music School. Additionally, Eva's career includes roles as Associate Director of Development at The Dallas Opera and Director of Development at the Dallas Wind Symphony. An early career at the University of North Texas and the North Carolina School of the Arts solidified Eva's expertise in alumni relations and development. Eva holds a BFA in Design & Production from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
