Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi-Yokut Tribe
Samantha McCarty is a Cultural Specialist 2 with the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi-Yokut Tribe since July 2019, bringing extensive experience in archaeology and museum studies. Previous roles include a Museum Studies Intern at The American Bookbinders Museum, where responsibilities encompassed acquisitions, cataloging, and administrative support. Samantha has also worked as a Field Archaeologist for Applied EarthWorks, Inc. and Table Mountain Rancheria Cultural Resources Department, focusing on artifact analysis, cataloging, and cultural resource monitoring. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco, along with certificates and degrees in GIS and Anthropology from California State University, Fresno. Additionally, Samantha holds an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Clovis Community College and completed high school education at the Center For Advanced Research and Technology and Clovis North High School.
