Tammy Rice

Tammy Rice, MBA, CPA, CIA, CHIAP, CHC has a strong and diverse work experience in the field of internal audit and compliance. Tammy currently holds the position of Vice President of Compliance & Chief Audit Executive at SantaFe HealthCare, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Audit Services at University of Florida Health and Halifax Heath, where they transformed the internal audit functions and implemented risk-based audit plans. Tammy also established internal audit functions for various clients as the Director of Audit & Consulting Services at CHAN Healthcare Auditors. Tammy started their career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, building client relationships, implementing automated audit systems, and developing data analytics programs.

Tammy Rice holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Healthcare Analytics from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, which they obtained from 2017 to 2020. Tammy also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Anderson University, obtained from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their degrees, Tammy has several certifications including Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional (CHIAP) from the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Missouri Board of Accountancy, and Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).
