Amelda Lourens

Amelda Lourens has a solid work history in the finance and insurance industry, starting as a Senior Business Analyst at Sanlam in 1997. Amelda then moved to Capitec Bank as an Enterprise Business Architecture Facilitator before transitioning to Santam Insurance where they held various roles, including Business Architect and Business Change Manager. In 2022, they joined SanlamAllianz as a Solution Delivery Manager. Throughout their career, Amelda has demonstrated a strong focus on implementing new capabilities, solving business problems, and ensuring alignment across strategic projects.

Amelda Lourens has a Diploma in Business Analysis from FTI Faculty Training Institute in 2002 and another Diploma in Business Analysis from the Faculty of Training Institute in the same year. In 2014, they completed the Senior Management Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in PolicyCenter version 9 from Guidewire in 2017 and a Certificate in Architecture from IBM. Lourens has also earned certifications in Cloud Architecture: Advanced Concepts and Scrum: Advanced from LinkedIn in 2021, as well as in Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself from LinkedIn in 2019.
