Hector Iturralde Lacaci

Hector Iturralde Lacaci is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the asset management and banking sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Clients for the Middle East at Santander Asset Management since September 2022, Hector previously held various leadership roles at Banco Santander from 2005 to 2022, including Managing Director of ESG & Shareholders in Madrid and Senior Banker for Financial Sponsors in New York. Earlier in his career, Hector worked in corporate finance at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria and gained consulting experience at everis. Hector holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and a BA in Economics from Universidad de Alcalá, complemented by an Erasmus scholarship at the University of Leeds.
