Luis Yance

Luis Yance, CFA is the Head of LatAm Regional Strategies and Portfolio Manager Mexican Equities at Santander Asset Management since June 2023. Prior to that, Luis was a Partner at Compass where Luis managed over $1 billion in assets invested in Mexican equities, Mexican government and corporate bonds. Luis also served as the Colombia CIO & Portfolio Manager at Compass, where Luis successfully launched the Andean Small Cap Fund. With previous experience as a Vice President at BlackRock and a Marketing Analyst at Merrill Lynch, Luis holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and has a background in industrial and computer engineering.
