Satyam Das

Satyam Das is an experienced executive in technology risk management, currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Risk Officer at Santander Bank, N.A., since July 2024. Satyam's previous roles include Managing Director at BNP Paribas, where oversight of ICT, operational resilience, and third-party risk management in the CIB Americas was provided from April 2020 to June 2024. Earlier, Satyam served as Director at BlackRock, leading APAC regional initiatives for enterprise resilience and security from January 2017 to April 2018, and held various vice president positions at Deutsche Bank, focusing on information and resilience risk management in North Asia from January 2013 to January 2017. Satyam's career began at AXA Business Services, where the CISO function and information security risk management framework were established from November 2007 to June 2011. Satyam holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Bangalore University.
