Alexander Krupchenko has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Alexander currently serves as the Chief Control Officer at Santander Consumer Bank - Nordics. Prior to this, they were a Founding Partner at Reaction, where they focused on investing in and promoting innovations to solve global issues. Alexander also held the position of Finance Director and Member of the Management Board at Santander Consumer Bank S.A. from 2013 to 2023. Additionally, they served as the Head of Representative Office in Russia at Banco Santander and worked as a Controller at Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (Santander Group). Early in their career, Alexander held various roles including CEO at Santander Consumer Bank, Russia, CFO at Santander Consumer Bank Russia, Financial Controller at Citibank Russia, Head of Internal Control at Citibank Ukraine, and Chief Accountant and Head of Audit at Ukrgazprombank.

Alexander Krupchenko attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2019, where they completed the Stanford Executive Program. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1994, they studied at Kyiv National Economics University. In addition to their academic achievements, Alexander has obtained certifications such as the Elevate | Business Leaders Programme - Certificate of Achievement from Santander and the Fintech Revolution: Transformative Financial Services and Strategies certification from Emeritus.
