Javier Larragoiti Kuri serves as the CEO and Co-founder of Creative Food Labs since November 2019, where the focus is on transforming agricultural waste into xylitol, a natural sugar substitute. Javier is also a member of Santander X 100, promoting positive societal impact through entrepreneurship. Previous roles include Junior Research Scientist at Universidad Iberoamericana, where bioprocess projects were directed, and a Short Term Scholar at Harvard University, where a novel microfluidic device was developed. Earlier experiences include teaching chemistry at Prepa Ibero, holding research positions at Universidad Iberoamericana, an R&D internship at BASF, and an R&D internship at Unilever. Javier earned an MSc in Biochemical Engineering from UCL and a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.
