Yelena Wetherill

Yelena Wetherill is currently serving as a Venture Fellow and Entrepreneur-in-residence at SANTÉ, where responsibilities include conducting thematic investment research and building strategic relationships within the investment community. Prior experience includes roles as Director in Alliance Management, Business Development, and Licensing at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, as well as leadership positions at Baxalta and Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, focusing on oncology and immuno-oncology programs. Yelena has also contributed to the scientific community as a member of the Board of Directors for WEST and served in various research capacities at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and Harvard Medical School. Yelena holds a post-doctorate in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Harvard Medical School, a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology of Cancer from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and a B.S. in Biological Sciences and Women's Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
