Paolo Guffanti

Paolo Guffanti is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as VP East Region at Santen since January 2014, Paolo has previously held significant leadership roles including VP Commercial Operations Europe and GM for Russia, CEE, and CIS. Prior to Santen, Paolo was a Business Unit Director at Bausch + Lomb, where a successful turnaround led to substantial market growth. Notable past positions also include Strategic Planning Head at GlaxoSmithKline, where Paolo implemented a joint venture and received the European President Award, and a Manager at ZS Associates with a focus on commercial strategy in healthcare. Paolo's career began at Air Products and Chemicals in business development and included a tenure as Senior Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Educational qualifications include an MBA from IMD and an MSc in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
