Peter Sallstig

Peter Sallstig serves as the President and CEO of Santen Inc. in the USA, while also holding the role of Global Head of the Product Development Division and Chief Medical Officer. With extensive experience in managing global development operations across multiple regions, including Japan, the USA, Europe, and China, Peter has successfully led diverse teams and overseen significant initiatives in organizations such as Insmed Incorporated, Alcon, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Novartis. Notable achievements include transforming the Development Department at Santen, overseeing clinical programs at Insmed, and repositioning immunology compounds at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Peter Sallstig holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Semmelweis University and an MBA from The Open University.
