Satoshi Ueda has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding various roles in quality compliance, operations management, and leadership. In 2007, they began their career at Eli Lilly and Company as a Quality Director, where they worked until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Ueda served as the Managing Director at Teva seiyaku Japan. Satoshi then joined Sanofi as the Chief Quality Officer in 2013, a position they held until 2014. Ueda then became the Operations Director at Amgen Astellas BioPharma in 2014, and later moved on to become the Head of Global Quality Compliance at Santen in 2017.
Satoshi Ueda holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Kyoto University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Shizuoka University. Satoshi also has a PhD certification from Kyoto University.
