Valentina Jaimez

Valentina Jaimez has a strong background in the BIM (Building Information Modeling) industry. Valentina is currently the Head of the BIM Business Unit at Santex since February 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Managing Director of bspk - Tailored BIM Services from January 2020 to August 2021.

Before their role at bspk, Valentina worked as a Project Manager at AEC Resource from October 2017 to December 2019. In this position, they oversaw different teams and coordinated between BIM specialists, ensuring the successful execution and completion of projects. Valentina also had close contact with clients, reviewing estimates, and addressing budget, scheduling, and quality-control issues.

Valentina gained experience as an Intermediate Architect at NORR from November 2016 to July 2017. Here, they were involved in the technical design and coordination of residential towers, overseeing various aspects such as structural coordination, sub-consultant coordination, BIM workload organization, and assisting the manager in reports, meetings, and scope of work.

Valentina also served as a Senior BIM Architect at iTech Management Consultancy from February 2014 to November 2016. Valentina worked on site for the contractor company, delivering fully coordinated BIM models and assisting in proposals and project reports. Valentina was involved in interdisciplinary design coordination and ensured the project adhered to timelines and scope of work. One notable project during their time at iTech was the Al Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Valentina gained early experience through internships and roles at renowned architecture firms. Valentina interned at Renzo Piano Building Workshop from November 2012 to March 2013, contributing to the development of a masterplan and healthcare project. At AFT Arquitectos, they worked as an Architect from March 2010 to August 2011, supporting the Senior Architect in design and presentations, leading the technical department for graphic production in Revit, and training the team in BIM procedures and standards.

Valentina's career began at AEC Resource in March 2009, where they worked as an Architect responsible for BIM production in architecture, MEP, and structural coordination. Valentina was also involved in drafting, QA/QC, coordination with consultants, and project production using Revit and AutoCAD.

Prior to their time at AEC Resource, Valentina was an Architect and Project Leader at Corbis Global from February 2007 to February 2009. Here, they were responsible for project coordination, drafting, QA/QC, and general coordination tasks across various design phases.

Overall, Valentina Jaimez has extensive experience in BIM, project management, and architectural coordination, with a proven track record in delivering successful projects.

Valentina Jaimez completed their education in architecture with a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Valentina pursued this degree from 2000 to 2006, during which they studied a variety of subjects including architecture, planning, and design. Later on, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science in Architecture with a focus on large scale architecture from Politecnico di Milano. This degree was completed between 2011 and 2013.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Valentina Jaimez obtained a certification as a Revit Architecture Certified Professional from Autodesk in November 2018. This certification demonstrates their competency in using the Revit Architecture software for architectural purposes.
