Chris Metcalfe is currently the Assistant General Counsel at SAP and has an extensive background in technology and intellectual property law. Chris practiced as a Technology Lawyer at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP from 2007 to 2012, where they specialized in the protection and enforcement of technology rights and served as a registered patent agent in Canada and the U.S. Prior to their legal career, Chris worked as a Systems Engineer at Broadcom Canada. Chris earned an LLB from Dalhousie University and a BASc in Electrical Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
