Karina Montilla Edmonds

Karina Montilla Edmonds is the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Academies and University Alliances at SAP since April 2020, previously serving as Vice President in the same capacity. Prior experience includes roles at Google from May 2017 to April 2020, where Karina was the University Lead for Google Cloud AI/Machine Learning, fostering collaborations with universities to advance research and innovation. Prior to Google, Karina served as Executive Director for Corporate Partnerships at Caltech, overseeing strategies to enhance private sector and federal agency collaborations. Additional roles include Technology Transfer Coordinator at the U.S. Department of Energy and various positions at Caltech and Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on technology transfer and patent management. Karina earned a PhD in Aeronautics from Caltech and a BS in Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
