Markus Cherdron is a passionate business and technology leader currently serving as the Chief Development Architect for SAP Sovereign Cloud since 2022. In this role, Markus supports the CTO by steering the global technology direction and ensuring compliance, scalability, and innovation across SAP’s sovereign cloud offerings. With extensive experience at SAP spanning from architecting cloud-native solutions to leading agile development teams, Markus has contributed to multiple key projects within SAP’s Customer Experience portfolio. Markus holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern and has pursued additional studies in Robotics at Télécom SudParis.
