Zeineb Achour, PhD

Zeineb Achour, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Zeineb most recently worked at Saphetor as the Genomics Software Lead Product Manager, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, from January 2019 to March 2023, they served as a Clinical Application Product Manager at SOPHiA GENETICS.

In 2014, Zeineb began their career as an Engineer Intern at CIRAD and later took on a role as a Research Assistant at Génétique Quantitative et Évolution - Le Moulon. During their time at Génétique Quantitative et Évolution - Le Moulon, they conducted research on DNA methylation variations after cell divisions and gained experience in wet lab work, bioinformatics skills such as data analysis, and coding languages like R and Python. Zeineb also participated in scientific monitoring, project management, teaching, and scientific communication.

Zeineb then pursued an Engineer's degree in Agronomy Science and Biotechnology at Institut National Agronomique de Tunisie, from 2010 to 2013. Zeineb further enhanced their knowledge by completing a Master 2 degree in Agronomy Science and Biotechnology at L'Institut Agro Montpellier from 2013 to 2014. Building upon their previous educational accomplishments, they obtained a PhD in Biology from Université Paris-Saclay, where they focused their research and academic efforts from 2014 to 2018.
