Gina Capiaux

Gina Capiaux has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Gina began their career in 2003 as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences and then moved on to become a Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Dey Laboratories Inc in 2004. In 2007, Gina advanced to the position of Director of Regulatory Affairs at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. Gina continued their career progression in 2011 by joining Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. as a Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs. Gina's most recent roles include being the Owner of GMC Regulatory Services, LLC, which they started in 2016, and their current position as the Head of Regulatory Affairs at Sapience Therapeutics, Inc., a role they have held since August 2016.

Gina Capiaux pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1986 to 1990, they attended California State University, Fresno, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. Continuing their academic journey, they then enrolled at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences for their PhD in Pharmacology, which they earned from 1996 to 2002.
