Riaan Kers

Riaan Kers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and IT leadership across various industries. Currently serving as the Global IT Director, PMO at Saputo Inc. since March 2022, Riaan oversees the global IT portfolio management and project delivery. Prior roles include Director of the Project Management Centre of Excellence at Metrolinx, where strategic oversight and project delivery excellence were cultivated, and Associate Director at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, managing a capital portfolio exceeding $3 billion. Riaan's background also includes significant positions at South32 and BHP Billiton, where expertise in project services, capital project management, and operational efficiency was demonstrated. Riaan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electric and Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Johannesburg.
