Rocky Banks

Rocky Banks is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in system administration, IT operations management, and project coordination, currently serving as a System Administrator at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute since June 2023. Previously, Rocky held various roles at the Regional Organized Crime Information Center (ROCIC) from 1993 to 2023, including IT Operations Manager and Deputy Director of Administration, earning recognition as Employee of the Year twice. Rocky possesses a robust skill set in WAN/LAN networking, cloud technologies, and desktop software optimization, and has successfully managed customer support for over 2,500 agencies. Additionally, Rocky's earlier experience includes work as a Freelancer in web and database design, and as a Combat Intelligence Officer in the United States Marine Corps. An alumnus of Vanderbilt University and Belmont University, Rocky holds bachelor's degrees in Spanish Language and Literature and Journalism.
