George Plionis

George Plionis is a highly experienced Senior CAD Designer at SARAH & SEBASTIAN since July 2022, with a long-standing career as a Freelance Industrial Designer and Director since January 1991. Plionis specializes in bespoke and exhibition jewelry design, working closely with clients to bring their visions to life through a comprehensive design process that includes concept development, hand sketching, and technical drawings. Proficient in software such as Rhino, T-Splines, and Z-Brush, George Plionis has collaborated with various brands, including Fitzgerald Jewelry and Deka Jewelry, and has held academic positions as a Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney and an Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design. With a strong educational background, including an MFA in Industrial Design from Parsons, Plionis holds certifications and degrees in jewelry manufacture and design.
