Giovanni Moratti

Giovanni Moratti has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Giovanni currently holds the position of Chief of Energy Transition at Saras, a role they have held since September 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Sustainability Manager at Saras from November 2016 to September 2019.

Giovanni's entrepreneurial pursuits are evident from their roles as the Founder of Colibrì Café since June 2015 and Co-founder of Kooness.com since April 2015. Giovanni also gained research experience as a Research Associate at the Commissione Straordinaria per la Tutela e la Promozione dei Diritti Umani from September 2015 to October 2016.

Giovanni has also held positions in policy advisory and development. Giovanni worked as a Policy Advisor at Inter Futura from September 2014 to September 2015 and as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission from March 2014 to August 2014.

Additionally, Giovanni has an assistant developer experience at Gramma Green Asset Management from January 2013 to April 2013 and co-founded Cà Laghetto in September 2011. Giovanni also worked as an Assistant Trader at Saras from September 2010 to April 2011.

Earlier in their career, Giovanni served as the Events Manager and Head of zone 1 Headquarters at Lista Civica Milly Moratti X Pisapia from March 2010 to May 2010.

Giovanni Moratti holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Philosophy of the Social Sciences from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) obtained from 2011 to 2012. Giovanni also took a Business Sustainability Management course at the University of Cambridge in 2019. Giovanni previously attended Università degli Studi di Milano from 2003 to 2010, where they earned a Laurea in filosofia morale with a focus on Filosofia della storia. In 2020-2021, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainability Business (PCSB) with an Organisational Stream at the University of Cambridge.
