Anne Snabes

Anne Snabes is an experienced reporter currently serving as the Macomb County Reporter for The Detroit News since September 2023. Snabes has a diverse background in journalism, having worked as a Sarasota County Government/Politics Reporter for Herald-Tribune Media Group and as a reporter at The Meridian Star, covering local government and health-related topics. Other notable experiences include a Pulliam Fellowship at The Indianapolis Star, reporting for Medill News Service, and various roles at the Cornell Daily Sun. Snabes holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and English from Cornell University.
