Bart Pfankuch is an experienced journalist with a career spanning over two decades. Since 2005, Bart has served as City Editor at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. Prior to this role, Bart was Editor and Vice President of Editorial at Rowland Publishing, overseeing the editorial direction of two lifestyles magazines from April 2002 to September 2004. Bart's journalistic journey began with a staff writer position at the capitol bureau of the Florida Times-Union, followed by roles as a police and education reporter at the same publication and as a reporter at the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram. Bart's freelance work began at the Capital Times in the early 1990s. Bart holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 1985 and 1990.
