Maddie McCarthy

Maddie McCarthy is currently a Development Associate at Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Maddie previously served as the Chair of Capital Region Students for Biden from December 2019 to January 2021. In this role, they ran all social media accounts for Capital Region Students for Biden, as well as SUNY Potsdam Student's for Biden. Maddie also worked alongside many other students in New York Students for Biden, hosted and participated in phone banking events, and attended many volunteering events with the campaign to help get more people involved.

Prior to their work with the Biden campaign, Maddie interned with Saratoga Performing Arts Center in the programming/development department. Maddie also volunteered as an Instrument Petting Zoo Student Volunteer in July 2017, where they helped the general public learn how to hold and make sounds from various woodwind and brass instruments. Maddie is also a swim coach and lifeguard, having served in that capacity at Niskayuna Town Pool from June 2016 to August 2020.

Maddie McCarthy pursued a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Music Business with a minor in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Potsdam. Maddie also holds an Advanced Regents Degree from Niskayuna High School.

Maddie McCarthy reports to Leslie Collman-Smith, General Manager. They work with Zack Ashcraft - Assistant Box Office Manager, Frank Tessier - Associate Manager, Membership & Guest Services.
