Azyan Abdullah

Azyan Abdullah is a Sustainability Executive at Sarawak Energy Berhad since September 2019, focusing on cross-functional collaboration to enhance ESG compliance, risk management, and stakeholder relations. Azyan has experience as an Environmental Geologist, where responsibilities included developing 2D modeling systems for hydrological and sediment transport assessments, soil sampling, and ensuring environmental legal requirements are met at project sites. Previous roles include Event Executive, coordinating stakeholder engagements for hydropower initiatives, and Geologist Intern roles at both Sarawak Energy and PETRONAS, participating in coal analysis and reservoir studies. Azyan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology from Curtin University and has completed O-levels and high school education earlier.
