Danielle Kellar

Danielle Kellar is a Senior Scientist at Sardona Therapeutics since October 2022, focusing on research in therapeutics for kinetoplastid-caused diseases, including Chagas Disease, Leishmaniasis, and Human African Trypanosomiasis. Previously, Danielle worked at 23andMe from October 2018 to October 2022, holding roles from Scientist I to Scientist II. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Scientist at Five Prime Therapeutics, Inc. from June 2014 to September 2018 and as an Associate Specialist at UCSF from June 2012 to June 2014, where Danielle led immunology research on hookworm infections. Initial work at UCSF involved responsibilities as a Staff Research Associate and Veterinary Nurse, assisting in laboratory veterinary care from May 2009 to September 2011. Danielle Kellar earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Oregon in 2006 and a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from San Francisco State University in 2013.
