Kathryn Shortman

Kathryn Shortman, CPA, MBA, serves as the Sr Director of Accounting Operations at Sarepta Therapeutics since August 2013, bringing extensive expertise in accounting and finance to the role. Previously, Kathryn held the position of Senior Accountant at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from January 2013 to August 2013 and at Momenta Pharmaceuticals from September 2008 to December 2012. Prior experience includes roles as an Internal Auditor at UMass Memorial Medical Center and Assistant Controller at Orange Park Medical Center. Kathryn began her career as a Senior Accountant at Memorial Hospital Jacksonville from January 2005 to August 2007. Educational credentials include an MBA in Accounting and a BBA in Accounting from the University of North Florida - College of Business Administration, completed in 2007 and 2003, respectively.
