Weihua Tang

Weihua Tang has a comprehensive work experience in the biostatistics and biometrics field. Currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Biometrics at Sarepta Therapeutics since June 2023. Prior to this role, Tang held multiple leadership positions at X4 Pharmaceuticals, including Vice President of Biostatistics, Statistical Programming and Data Management from November 2020 to June 2023, and Senior Director of Biostatistics from June 2019 to October 2020. Tang also gained experience at Biogen as the Director of Biostatistics from March 2017 to June 2019 and as an Associate Director from August 2015 to March 2017. Before Biogen, Tang worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they served as an Associate Director from September 2013 to August 2015, and as a Principal Statistician from June 2011 to August 2013. Tang started their career at Merck as a Summer Intern in June 2004.
