Wim Dhaeze

Wim DHaeze, PhD, ELS has extensive work experience in regulatory affairs and quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. Wim is currently serving as the Sr. Director, Global Regulatory Operations and RIMS/DMS Lead at Sarepta Therapeutics since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Director of Document Quality Operations from 2018 to 2021. Wim also served as the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at HUYA Bioscience International in 2018. Wim has held various roles in regulatory affairs, technical writing, and document systems management at Neurocrine Biosciences, Mast Therapeutics, Arena Pharmaceuticals, and The Scripps Research Institute. Wim started their career as a Ph.D. student at Ghent University and later worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Georgia. Wim has a Ph.D. in Biology and is an Editor in the Life Sciences (ELS).

Wim DHaeze, PhD, ELS, has a strong educational background in life sciences, biotechnology, and bioengineering. Wim obtained their Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology from Ghent University in 2001 and a Bioengineering degree in Chemistry from the same university in 1994. In 2023, they completed a program in Biotech and Pharmaceutical Management from Cornell University. Additionally, they hold various certifications in areas such as leadership, communication, and influencing from LinkedIn and Veeva Systems. Wim is also a holder of a Professional Development Certificate from the American Medical Writers Association in 2008.
