Hassan Abughofah

Hassan Abughofah has over three decades of experience as an electrical engineer, primarily in the nuclear power industry. Hassan began their career at Sargent & Lundy LLC in 1989, where they worked on various projects involving substations and power plant systems. In 2002, they became the Lead Electrical Engineer for Nuclear Power Technology, leading design change modifications at various nuclear power plants. Hassan continued to work with Sargent & Lundy LLC until 2016, serving as a Lead Electrical Engineer and Task Manager for projects at Browns Ferry Nuclear Power Plant and Ontario Power Generation. In 2017, they rejoined Sargent & Lundy as an Electrical Lead Engineer. Throughout their career, Abughofah has developed engineering designs, implemented modifications to improve safety and performance, and managed projects in the nuclear power industry.

Hassan Abughofah holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Valparaiso University. Hassan also pursued a Master's degree in electrical Power and control system at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
