Jeff Opett

Jeff Opett, PE, PMP, is an experienced project manager specializing in engineering and construction within the utilities and communication sectors. Currently, Jeff holds the position of Project Manager at Sargent & Lundy, overseeing Transmission and Substation projects for utility customers along the East Coast of the United States since October 2021. Prior to this, Jeff served as Project Engineering Manager at Bechtel Power and Infrastructure, leading global teams on EPC projects within the communication industry for over a decade. Jeff's career also includes a role as Senior Project Manager at NYSTEC, where leadership was provided to teams planning, designing, and constructing communication systems for public agencies, as well as work at Clough Harbour & Associates, leading heavy civil engineering design projects. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University, completing studies from 1987 to 1991.
