Jie ZHANG currently serves as an Associate Professor at Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Science since September 2018. Previous experience includes roles as Lead Engineer and Research Engineer at GE Global Research from April 2013 to January 2018, focusing on the Fuels & Emissions Lab, and as a Research Associate at Ecole Centrale de Lille from January 2012 to January 2013 in the UCCS (Laboratory of Catalysis and Solid State Chemistry) - CNRS. Jie ZHANG completed a Ph.D. in Process & Product Engineering from Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine between 2008 and 2011, after obtaining a Master's in Water & Environment from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Limoges (2006-2008) and a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology (2002-2006).
