Miguel Flores Rubio

Miguel Flores Rubio has a strong background in cybersecurity and IT consulting. Miguel is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Sarina Russo Group since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Management Consultant at PwC Australia from August 2018 to November 2021.

Before joining PwC, Miguel held various roles at EY, including Cyber Security Manager from January 2017 to July 2018, and from March 2016 to January 2017. Miguel also worked at BBVA Bancomer as an IT Advisor, where they led the transformation of two core business processes through IT improvements.

Earlier in their career, Miguel worked at EY as a Manager from October 2013 to June 2015, overseeing information security projects, and as a Senior from June 2011 to September 2013, focusing on IT governance and process improvement. Miguel also served as a Consulting Manager at Sytecso SA de CV, where they consulted on IT process mapping and improvement based on ITIL v3.0.

Miguel began their career as an IT Specialist at ITESM, where they worked on IT projects and process mapping based on ITIL v3.0.

Miguel Flores Rubio holds a Master's Degree in IT Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they completed from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Pachuca, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Miguel has also obtained several certifications in areas such as information security, business continuity, and IT governance. Some of these certifications include CISSP, BCMS Lead Auditor, ISMS Lead Implementer, CISA, COBIT, Fundamentals in Information Security, and ITIL v3 Foundation.
