Wissam Kachmar

Wissam Kachmar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction and procurement industry. Wissam is currently the Director of Procurement at SAROOJ CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LLC since November 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Group Procurement and Sales Director at Helm Holding (QBS INTERNATIONAL WLL) from January 2020 to October 2020. Wissam also worked as the Corporate Procurement Manager at Al Jaber Group from November 2006 to August 2019. Before that, they served as a Construction Engineer at New Century Investment from April 2003 to September 2006, and as a Section Engineer at the same company from December 2000 to April 2003.

Wissam Kachmar earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering from Beirut Arab University from 1993 to 1998. Later, from 2000 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from Oklahoma City University. In 2014, they also obtained a certification in Practical Use of FIDIC Conditions of Contract from FIDIC - International Federation of Consulting Engineers.
