Anna Persson

Anna Persson began their work experience in 1999 as a Summer Intern at Umeå University. Anna then worked as a Visiting Scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from 1999 to 2000, where they conducted research on chromium speciation in combustion atmospheres. In 2002, they worked as an Associate Member of Technical Staff at Blue Star Sustainable Technologies. From 2002 to 2007, Anna held various roles at UMETRICS INC., including Sales Engineer/Application Specialist and Regional Sales Manager. Anna then joined MKS Instruments in 2007 as an Application Specialist and later became a Senior Principal Data Scientist. At MKS Instruments, Anna was responsible for implementing and deploying the Umetrics Suite of Software in customer environments. Since 2017, they have been working at Sartorius Stedim Biotech, where they started as a Principal Data Scientist and is currently the Head of Application Engineering Digital Solutions. Throughout their career, Anna has been actively involved in giving technical presentations and has contributed to the development and implementation of data analytics solutions in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Anna Persson completed their Master's Degree in Engineering Chemistry at Umeå University from 1995 to 2000. Anna also studied Sustainable Energy Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2001. In addition, they pursued Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1998 to 1999.
