Jamil Rashid

Jamil Rashid has extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles. Jamil currently works at SAS International as the Chief Operating Officer, where they are responsible for transforming profitability and customer service. Jamil closely collaborates with the CEO and supports functional leaders to deliver the business strategy.

Prior to their current role, Jamil served as the Managing Director - UK Test Services at UTAC, leading the UK business across two sites. Jamil also worked at RATP Dev as the Group Director of Business Transformation, where they played a key role in recovering EBITDA performance.

Jamil has also founded their own consulting company, JARA, as the Managing Director. Jamil led a team of consultants in delivering sales and operational excellence services across sectors such as Aerospace and Defence, Public Services, Automotive, and Medical.

Additionally, Jamil held the position of Divisional Director of Operations & Operational Excellence at Meggitt, a global aerospace engineering group. Jamil led the transformation of operating units across multiple locations and steered operations teams to meet budgeted targets.

Furthermore, Jamil has experience working as a Master Lean/Six Sigma consultant at ADS Group Ltd, where they delivered assignments in major aerospace and automotive companies. Jamil also worked at LISI AEROSPACE as a Continuous Improvement Manager and WHS PLASTICS LIMITED as a Production Manager, where they were responsible for managing quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Jamil Rashid has a BSc in Production Engineering Management from the University of Hertfordshire. Jamil also holds an MSc in Work Design from the University of Birmingham, with a focus on Industrial Engineering.
