ibrahim Halil Müjde

İbrahim Halil Müjde is currently the Lead Process Engineer at SASA Polyester, where he manages end-to-end PTA production operations, process optimization, and the performance of engineering and operations teams. Although his academic background is in Geological Engineering, he has successfully developed himself in petrochemical plant operations and large-scale process engineering. Prior to this role, he served as the Utility Lead Process Engineer at SASA from 2021 to 2024, leading the commissioning of a 1.58 million-ton/year PTA plant and overseeing major utility systems including boilers, cooling water, nitrogen, air, and chemical handling units.

Before joining SASA, Müjde worked at Cengiz Holding as the Lead Process Engineer for the Phosphoric Acid Plant from 2020 to 2021, following his role as Process Engineer from 2017 to 2020, where he led efficiency, safety, and optimization projects that significantly improved plant performance and reduced operational costs. Müjde began his career as an Exploration Geologist at Transmark Geothermal between 2015 and 2016.

He has extensive experience in chemical and petrochemical operations, large-scale commissioning, utility systems, process optimization, and plant performance improvement. İbrahim has played key roles in the successful startup and stable operation of major industrial facilities and continues to contribute to SASA’s operational excellence.

Müjde holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Geological Engineering from Dokuz Eylül University.
