Arla Rowbotham

Arla Rowbotham has over 20 years of work experience in the field of instructional design, human resources, and learning management systems. Arla is currently employed as a Team Lead - Instructional Design at Saskatchewan Government Insurance since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant - Instructional Design at the same company from March 2021 to February 2022. Before joining Saskatchewan Government Insurance, Arla worked at SaskGaming as a Manager of Learning from October 2017 to March 2021 and as a Learning and Development Consultant from June 2016 to October 2017. Arla also has extensive experience at SaskPower, where they held various roles including Specialist, Learning Management System from January 2014 to June 2016, Training Lead - Horizon Project from June 2010 to January 2014, and Training Specialist from May 1999 to June 2010.

Arla Rowbotham obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Regina, where they studied from 1989 to 1995. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including "Agile Instructional Design," "Learning Infographic Design," "Connecting Engagement and Inclusion to a Culture of Performance," "Creating Flowcharts for Beginners," "Redefining Workplace Learning Analytics," and "Visio Quick Tips." Arla also served as a Chapter Leader for The Institute for Performance and Learning in 2018-19.
