Dave Halstead serves as the Research Chair at Saskatchewan Polytechnic's School of Natural Resources and Built Environment, focusing on applied research in areas such as remotely piloted aircraft systems, geographic information science, forest reclamation, and ecological indicators. In addition to this role, Halstead teaches as an Aquatic Science Instructor in the Natural Resource Technology Program, emphasizing aquatic ecology.
