Darren Foster

Darren Foster is an accomplished leader in corporate strategy and sustainability, currently serving as the Executive Director of Corporate Strategy & Planning at SaskPower since 2013. In this role, Darren is responsible for the development and delivery of energy transition strategies within a complex operational environment at the $14-billion electricity utility. Previous positions at SaskPower include Director of Corporate Strategy & Sustainability and Manager of Corporate Performance & Rate Regulation. Darren also serves as a Board Member for the International CCS Knowledge Centre and has extensive experience in strategy and communications from leadership roles at Factotum Creative, Palmer Jarvis, and Campion College at the University of Regina. Darren began a career in journalism and communications with positions at various media outlets. Educationally, Darren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications from the University of Regina.
